The Band

You take a gypsy-guitar, a double-bass, a piano and lots of different drums, and then combine all these elements of rhythm to form a strong Groove. Improve it with a sprinkling of accordion, a pinch of lively clarinet, and stir the mixture into a vibrant sextet with three portions of closed-harmony-songs.

There are excellent and famous musical songs, jazz evergreens and forgotten cheeky hits, which have been newly arranged, choreographed and presented with witty lyrics resulting in a refreshing “Fete du Swingtett”.

We have to thank Django Reinhardt, the Andrews-Sisters, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and all the great musicians of the European Swing for their inspiring songs.
